Blog Journal 2

I have easily lost track of the countless essays that I have written for my classes (especially in English) in high school and college. However, I have never really dived into the “creative” part of Word and really only use it to get my essays done. I know all the basic stuff and usually I can find my way around formatting pretty easily. So far, I have seen my teachers have the same kind of relationship with Word, in just using it for creating reviews and sample papers but nothing close to using Word to its full extent.             My experience with copyright and fair use has been very minimal, it’s not talked about probably as much as it should be (mostly teachers will just talk about plagiarizing other students work opposed to random people on the internet). Incorporating technology into the classroom is pivotal nowadays. The main influence for teachers and students to utilize technology in the classroom is simply the fact that technology is everywhere in our society. Technology is a privilege that we, as students, all take advantage ...

About Me

My name is Jenna Armstrong, I am 18 years old, and I was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. This is my second semester at FSU and i am a Political Science major with a minor in education. I aspire to be a lobbyist for education in the future because it is something i love to talk about and i am very passionate about doing what is best for our education system. Although this is a decision i have just recently made, it has been in the back of my mind for a very long time and my EDF1005 class showed me that i love to talk about teaching, but maybe not be there in the line of fire. My high school wasn't all too reliant on technology, although we did have a few days where they would bring in very cheap laptops for us to do some work on (and the occasional trip to the media center when needed). As for my teachers, they always use their computers, projectors, and powerpoints in order to deliver successful lessons. When i had homework in my AP english classes is when i started to ...
