- Working with Diigo was slightly confusing at first but i really began to appreciate it! Especially when it comes to how easy it is to share other websites with other people in your groups so that you can make their life a little easier as well! The annotating portion of Diigo was also fairly easy and creates a super easy environment to share your comments with other people in your community or even just keep them for yourself in the future. This can help in a classroom for easy dissemination of information, especially with colleagues as well. One website that can hold a variety of different sites that you can go back to in the future is great for helping professional efforts.
- Professional development is vital for all educators in order to hone in on their skills to make their experience easier on them, as well as for the students.It is very important that teachers stay up to date and be aware of the changes in their students lives that will ultimately affect them as well. Teachers have to learn just as much as the students and this is really important for aiding in their learning, especially before they get into the 'real world' which is flooded with technology. One way that teachers can stay up to date with technology trends that they can incorporate into the classroom is Reddit. This provides groups/ communities with one common place to post things that they find that will aid them in the classroom.
