-      Teacher’s pages on school websites are a great way to keep not only students up to date but parents as well. I looked at Mrs. Steed’s page on Florida High’s and her page included a short bio that explained what she teaches and the other programs that she oversees, along with her email. She teaches United States Government and Economics both in honors and general, so the age range of her kids is mostly seniors. For her different classes she includes their different syllabi that includes the materials needed for the class and the coursework they will be learning. Because she has the syllabi on her website, it is much easier for students to refer back to rather than shuffling through a bunch of papers. https://www.fsus.school/Page/980#calendar3856/20200227/month
-      I envision myself using technology in the future to stay more connected with the world around me. Being a lobbyist requires having a lot of connections and sites, such as LinkedIn, are a great opportunity for reaching out to colleagues. Overall, communicating is made ten times easier whenever we use technology. Emails, Twitter, and Facebook, all allow us to speak to different people we couldn’t normally speak to face to face. Technology is also vital in staying organized because papers can get thrown around all over the place and are generally unreliable.

-      At the Tech Sandbox I observed a lot of awesome technology that blew my mind and I never realized how much of it could be applied in schools. The promethean board is great for displaying work to students without letting anything get out of hand (because you can’t write on it with just your finger). VR sets can allow older students to act as if they are already in their field of work and get some practice time as if they are already in their profession (for example, a medical student observing a surgery up close). The robots that use code to run offer young children a great start into understanding the concept of coding and how technology functions (which is really important nowadays because technology is becoming increasingly more apparent in our society).
