- My experience with Twitter so far has been pretty good! I have learned a lot about the side of twitter that is designated for teachers and students and using Twitter as a Personal Learning Network. By using Twitter, teachers and students can receive information from other students or teachers to make their lives and their careers a little bit easier! I have not experience any issues using Twitter thus far and in my opinion it is one of the easiest examples of a PLN for teachers.
- Honestly, creating the website was kind of challenging for me. Weebly was super finicky and didn't like to put things in the places that i wanted them (i am well aware this was probably just user error). I have never made a website before and so this was definitely a learning experience and i got the gist of it after messing around a bit with the website. Next time, i could probably spend a little bit more time reading the tips and tricks for the website. In my future career as a lobbyist, i could utilize my own website to reach out to teachers and other professionals in my field, as well as displaying my work in a professional manner! My website is: http://jennaarmstrongclass.weebly.com
- Assistive and Adaptive technologies are used to aid diverse learners in their time in school in order to make their experience a little easier. These technologies range from apps on mobile phones to talking calculators. Apps on mobile phones can help soothe anxiety in students and talking calculators help students with ADHD and dysgraphia. The challenges that i think will come about in classrooms is staying up to date with technology in order to help students and parents and knowing how to use it myself to the best of my ability.

  1. Hey Jenna! You did a great job to follow the principle of contrast on your website because you used dark font color on a white background most of the time. When you used text on pictures you made sure that it is still easy to read by using a font color that is clearly different than the color of the picture. You also only used a small variety of font types and repeated them which creates a cohesive design. For example, you always used the same font type for the title of each page. Your website has a very clear design. The different text elements align with each other and nothing falls out of place. You did a great job on the principle of proximity. You have included bulleted lists, for example, that show effective proximity. Your overall design of the website is great! I really like that you used different pictures for your different pages!

  2. Contrast: I love your website! I think you did a great job with the contrast because you used dark fonts on light backgrounds making it easy to read. You also did a great job with your pictures, I think they fit very well on the website.

Repetition: Your repetition is good because you used similar fonts throughout the whole website which makes the reader want to keep reading. You did also use the same fonts for every header which was greatly appreciated. By doing that it makes it seem the whole website is one component rather than different tabs.

Alignment: I absolutely love how you set your pictures up on your about me page. This took away a lot of that white space but you did not add too much where the viewer would be overwhelmed. Everything was centered on the page so it made it very easy to read.

Proximity: Your proximity is amazing everything lines up so well! All of the bullet points are in the same place and aligned the same making it ascetically pleasing.

Overall: Overall I think you made a great website! I think it looks extremely professional and I would definitely see teachers using websites that look just like yours. It is also very pleasing to the eye.
